On a Light Note
"14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16) I believe it's important to understand who you are. Identity is crucial. Don't let people confuse you into believing you're something less...or something more. Pity and pride - both destructive forces. Always pay attention to 'who' is speaking to you. Not everyone's opinion about you matters. In the book of Matthew, Jesus spoke...and said: 'you are' the light of the world. Note that Jesus spoke. And He spoke in the present tense: You are. Irregardless of your past and despite how distant the future may seem, you are. Your life counts. Your input makes a difference. Even a candlelight,...
