Let Him Speak (2)
Immediately, he opened his eyes, let out a giggle and joined his sister’s chorus: “...H, I, J, K, Ello-lello, P...” Meanwhile, our 3 month-old quietly watched all the action from the bed with a face that looked puzzled, interested and “just happy to be here” all at once. Since there was no stopping it, we let them get to “Z” then prayed and went into the scripture for the evening:
Habakkuk 2:1-2
" 1 I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say to me and what he will say to me, and what I will answer when I am reproved. 2 And the Lord answered me, and said..."As I reflected on this passage, many things stood out to me. This was a person who was waiting to hear from God and did. But how?
Where are you suppose to be? Some of us are outside of the will of God, yet we expect God to answer our prayers. We are consciously doing things we know are wrong, yet we continue to do them anyway and still expect to God to bless us anyway.
"...and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer when I am reproved..."
Let Him Speak.

Preach!
